Formed over 11 years ago the Frome Big Band play for dances and concerts in and around the Frome Area. The band normally includes 4 trumpets, 5 Saxophones, 4 Trombones plus a  Rhythm section of Bass, Piano & Drums.

 

Style of Music do they play

The band has a wide repertoire of music to suit all age groups. They include classic Glen Miller Big Band tunes plus some Rock N Roll and pop tunes & Funk.

Frome Big Band play across Somerset centered on Frome including Bath, Warminster, Trowbridge, Shepton Mallet, Bradford on Avon, Mere, Radstock, Midsomer Norton, Bruton & Melksham

 

Type of events they normally play

Most of their gigs are concerts and dances.
